Cycling Road cycling is fast becoming a very popular sport amongst secondary school students. At Sacred Heart Girls’ College it is a relatively new sport and we are working towards increasing the number of students who can cycle at an appropriate level to compete in Waikato Secondary School Cycling Events. We are very lucky to have the services of Jack Swart as our cycling coach.Jack is a legend in New Zealand cycling, competing at two Commonwealth Games in road and track cycling where he won a Silver and Bronze Medal.The College links with the Hamilton Cycling Club which runs a summer series every Thursday evening from October through to April. The Hamilton Cycling Club has two junior categories catering for cyclists at all levels.
