Surfing The West Coast Raglan break is considered to be one of the best left hand breaks in New Zealand and Sacred Heart Girls’ College is lucky to be only 45 minutes drive from this. The College is also very lucky to have staff members who are keen on surfing. During Terms One and Two, once a fortnight, students are transported to Ocean Beach at Raglan. There they receive surfing instruction, initially from a coach, then from Miss Speakman when they have had more experience.
