Some of our Gateway students gained a variety of skills including customer service, teamwork, communication, organisational and initiative skills by completing a placement at Countdown supermarkets.
Fiona Teng, Jorja Littin, Hannah MacDonald, Mia Hartstone, Chanel Boston– Bennett, Sophie Burns and Maddy Goldsworthy were rotated around different areas such as the deli, online shopping, checkouts, produce, bakery and restocking. They gained some invaluable skills as well as the satisfaction of giving back to our local community.
