Recently, two of our Year 9 students—Olivia Moroney and Ruby Pinheiro—became NZ Surf Lifeguards!
After passing the physical tests—a series of tricky theory tests covering first aid, emergency communications, rescue scenarios and radio use—Olivia and Ruby passed the exams with scores above 90%! The girls are both members of Raglan Surf Lifesaving Club and will start patrolling the beach this summer.
