English
The essence of the English language is examined in depth through several modules. Students will understand how good communication skills are vital in our lives and future careers.
English encompasses learning about language and literature, including novels, short stories, poetry and film. Students will develop reading, writing, viewing, presenting, speaking and listening skills. Discovering how language works will enable students to communicate effectively using various forms for a range of purposes.
Media Studies
Media Studies allows us to develop media literacy skills, to examine the media’s role in our lives objectively. Students are given the opportunity to create their own media texts, learning to understand the world in many different ways – critical in this ever changing society.
